Q: I just got into an accident... What do I do now?
A: If you have collision coverage, you should first report the incident to your insurance company. They will ask you a series of questions once the claim has been established. An adjuster will be assigned to inspect the damage. The insured is responsible to pay their deductible. Every policy affords multiple levels of deductibles. Once the insurance company assesses the damage, the repair process can begin. (The deductible is payable to the body shop)
Q: Do I have the right to choose my repair shop even if my insurance company is paying for the repair?
A: Yes! You have the right to have your car repaired at any shop you choose. Your insurance company is required by law to pay the reasonable cost to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition according to the coverages you purchased. Your insurance policy will specify what coverages you have.
Q: Can AC Auto Body arrange for a rental car?
A: Yes! AC Auto Body will help you arrange for a rental car to be ready for you when you drop off your car. You can then leave it with us after your car is repaired.
Q: Is the repair of my vehicle guaranteed?
A: YES! AC Auto Body has a written lifetime guarantee for as long as you own the vehicle. AC Auto Body has what we believe to be one of the best guarantees available anywhere, and it's backed by a company that's been in business since 1977.
Q: My insurance company suggested that I obtain more than one estimate. Am I required to?
A: NO! You are NOT required by law to get more than one estimate.
